I just purchased a Mits 60805 HD-ready TV. The installation tech said I should use the composite video inputs v.s. the s-video inputs for the DSS box and my S-VHS VCR because the s-video bypasses the Mits comb filter. Does anyone know if this is really true?
I tried it both ways. I can't really tell the difference with a varying display (movies etc.). However, with a text display like the DSS guide or the VCR OSD, the s-video inputs seem allot better to me -- less dot crawl and less jittering of the picture.
Any recommendations?
Thanks!
P.S. I have the 60805 set to 480p v.s. 960i.
