I'm in Sanborn, above the escarpment. Using a CM4228. I don't have it on a rotor, but when I put it up I swung it around and scanned and got several decent locks from our northern neighbors. When I get home from work I'll see if I can find my notes as I wrote down all the stations I locked on to and what I thought the quality was at the time.
If the weather gets decent this weekend I can go up on the roof and swing it around again and have a look, but you should be able to do better than 1 channel.
