I have heard that at the moment 49-1 is actually broadcasting
myTV (with the very weak signal formerly of the WB) while
34-1 (at a much stronger signal) is broadcasting a Japanese
Soap during the daytime as a test signal. At some point
the testing will be over and myTV will be broadcast with
the 34-1 stronger signal. I am asking if anyone knows
when they will stop the testing and actually start showing
myTV programing with the stronger signal.
it doesn't work like that. They only have one frequency to transmit on, and therefore only one transmitter can be on at a time.
currently,
175kW transmitter broadcasts test signal during day on 34-1 (no remapping)
0.65kW transmitter broadcasts MYTV at night on 34-1 remapped to 49-1
