Yeah, but there could be some catches there. A condition of their HDTV license from the CRTC is that all programming *available* in high definition be shown in high definition. Now I don't think the kind of movies they're currently showing are actually available HD, but I do know some "movie packs" that stations can buy from the studios *are* provided with an HD option. City tends to get those (you know, that month where they suddenly have HD movies three times a week?)
