Another valuable tip - thanks Daniel. I'll take extra care especially when we have freezing rain !

previously I had antenna "focused" for reliable reception of WGRZ, (which for me is reliable) and for the most part, all other stations, from other towers also came in reliably despite being anywhere from 2 to 30 degrees off ! The exception was SunTV, which was intermittent in certain weather conditions and since Fox changed their transmitter, I also lost that a couple of times (albeit briefly, but I'd hate losing it during 24)

I've now got my rotor installed I can fine tune to towers as/when needed, now
I've found that for the most part, as expected, I can lock it at a few degrees SW in between the various towers and *everything* comes in solid, in the hi 80s to 100% on the signal meter. Now I have the flexibility to easily finetune the antenna a few degrees either way in unfavorable weather conditions as needed.

Of course, all you rotor owners already know all this !
