I finally sucessfully completed the electric screen control through my IRIQ remote. I purchased an X/10 4040 ir transceiver control pad and a couple of appliance modules. I connected two 120 volt plugs to the up and down control wires on the screen, connected to the X/10 modules with extension cords and set the control pad to number 1 on the raise module and 2 on the lower module. Then I programmed a macro in the IRIQ (the X/10 codes were already in the software) to select the appropriate module and off or on. Works great and my total investment is less than $50. (vs. $270 for Da-Lite's low voltage interface and ir remote kit). I now plan to add a couple of light dimmer modules and program their control into the IRIQ macros as well. Thanks to all for your posts.
