If you X-10 experts could start from scratch with brand new contruction and the intention of control over every outlet, light, appliance, etc. ini that new house, would it be an X-10 house, or use some other control strategy/product? I want to be able to call up my houseplan on my Home Theater HDTV and know the status of every switch and lamp in the house, as well as be able to control them with my Pronto remote. I don't want to see any "boxes", but rather have all the switches and sockets be smart internally. Can I do this with the assorted X-10 products out there?
