Hi,

I've just installed whole bunch of x10 lamp modules as well as appliance modules throughout the house. So far everything works fine (except the wall switch).

I was just wondering, currently, I have the computer interface plugs to an outlet, IR543 in the same room, as well as the module with an antenna (sorry forget what's called). The problem is if I'm in the basement, the signal is very weak, sometimes I have to click it a few times to get a response. Can I put that module with the antenna downstairs and still be able to receive all commands from the computer as well as the IR543 console?

If the above is not possible, can I buy another antenna module and place it in the basement? Does x10 have some sort of signal amplifier?
