A Hawkeye sends a device ON code whenever it senses motion, checking every few seconds it seems. It will keep sending ON codes as long as motion keeps happening within it's range.

I want a motion detector that will send an ON code the FIRST time it senses motion, but not send another ON code unless it has since sent an OFF code (because of no motion for 1 minute). I want to use a motion detector to activate an X-10 close contact module to initiate an IR macro that turns on my VCR, powers on a camera, and starts recording what the camera sees to the VCR. The hawkeye, however, keeps resending an ON code which keeps resending my IR macro so long as there is continuing motion detected.

Do any of you know of a smarter X10 motion detector that sends only one ON code after an OFF state?

Dave
