Copying CDs is legal. Copying DVDs is not. You
can make as many analog copies of CDs as you see
fit, as long as you don't profit from them or
give them to others. And you can make digital
copies from the original CD only on the same rules.
Nothing is legal for copy-protected DVDs, however,
not even dubbing to VHS.
good to know, I am a music nut with a high end 2 ch rig, I could almost care less about dvd's.
