Hello all,

I have a Samsung DVD-vr335 dvd recorder / hifi vcr. What is the best way to connect these units? (combos)
I don't have a TV/receiver that has Component or DVMI inputs. My receiver has S-Video and digital (Fiber) and Analog (RCA) inputs. My TV (Sony Trin) has S-video and separate RCA video/audio inputs.

The DVD/VCR has many inputs and outputs. I have the plan RF-cable connected for analog channels and for it to sync the time. I also have S-video and Fiber to the receiver, and lastly I have a plain Audio / Video cable to the TV.
(This way depending on what I'm watching I can change the input on the TV to watch a movie without the receiver being on).

But, when I'm recording to DVD from my PVR (DVR) system the the resolution seems way inferior to normal. I think it may be recording from the cable instead of the S-Video or a higher quality connection.

Any better way to segment the connections. I have everything setup in the menus on the DVD/VCR.

Thanks
Rick
