I just got a perfectly working Memorex MT1196 tv from a garage sale for about $2.00 US. However, the tv came without its original remote (Orion/Sansui/Memorex 076RO74050). The universal remotes I try will operate most functions, except I cannot access the "menu" functions. I am in Barrie, Ontario, Canada, north of Toronto. Is there a universal remote control I can buy that will allow me to access the "menu" functions of this tv? If not, has anyone in Canada got an original remote for this tv? There are some for sale on the internet from the US for about $30 - $40, but with what the tv cost me, I can't justify paying that much for a remote. Any help please. Thanks.
