I found this forum recently while looking for information on Protron TV's. Because of the information I gathered, I bought a Protron PLTV-26 from Sears and am very pleased with the picture quality, sound quality and looks. Being disappointed with the bulkiness of the remote which came with the TV, I decided to input codes into a universal remote. On my second try, I found a code that works. It is 002. Hope it works for you.
