I don't currently have DSS, but I'm planning to get it. Are you saying that there are some DSS units that are IR controlled, and some that are RF controlled? If so, is there an easy way to tell the difference? Are all of the newer DSS units RF instead of IR, or do some have both?

I really don't want to spend $400 on a remote if I won't be able to use it for DSS, but if I can make the right DSS decision in advance, can I head off this incompatibility?
