Hey, sorry for the delay getting back to you.
Yes, I did test the button solo and literally 100% of the time if I just press the off macro again the TV will turn off as expected. Almost makes me wonder if it needs to be turned off last and should I remove the first macro off command. CEC should not be a factor as I have that turned off.
I have the emitter level set to the factory default as I have never had to adjust those in the 10+ years I have been using URC remotes, but I can definitely try cranking it up, but that still would not explain why it always turns off on the 2nd macro off press.
The base went out shortly after the TV and receiver were replaced. Receiver was the same brand so most used functions were still fine and I had not yet gotten around to programming the TV with either base as this all happened right before Christmas and we were hosting at our house.

Thanks again, let me know if you still think adjusting the IR blaster level should be a consideration.
