I have an URC 980 and and a new Nvidia Shield. As you may or may not know the Shield only uses RF signals. So I bought this FLIRC adapter that you plug into the USB port on the Shield.

You set it up by programming known codes into the URC remote through CCP and then prgram the URC into the FLIRC through the GUI software on their webpage running on your windows machine.

Everything works, But how do you get the power to come on after the Shield goes into sleep mode?

The shield allows the USB port to always be powered, but when sleeping it doesn't seem like the power button wakes everything up on the Shield?
