Long time lurker, and I have what should be somewhat of a quick question.
My understanding is that the MX-1200, among others, has a built in IR emitter on the REMOTE ITSELF?
Is this a true statement? I hope so, because here is my issue:

I swear, I cannot get the MX-1200 to emit IR. In the "RF" section of CCP, I specify IR only for the device(s). I've tried it all, IR/RF, IR, only one device, only another device, all devices. Pointing directly AT the equipment, nada. It's not the codes, the remote seems to NOT X-mit IR by itself. I thought it could....
Heck, I even took my iphone camera, pointed it at other IR remote controls, and can see the IR emitting, but when I do it to the MX-1200, no IR emitting. I really wonder what the heck I am doing here.
As a final straw, I broke down and ordered another 350/receiver combo to connect the emitters to the equipment directly.
But. I was really really really hoping not to do that for only a TV and APPLE TV combo on the wall. I am fairly proficient with CCP, but apparently not? Anyone got advice? Thanks for your help.
That's what toys are for...
