Wrong, I was referring to a single URC remote, in this case the mx-780 in the subject line, and that it would only know one frequency at a time, its own. It wouldn't be able to control the Hopper via Hopper's RF frequency, get it.

Not really sure what your issue is. Off your meds? Drinking? Whatever it is, check the attitude at the door. I simply filled in a blank you left out so that the OP didn't run out and buy a basestation that is not compatible with his remote in order to make his system work. Why you have to get aggressive based on that info, I have no idea
