For the record, the CRTC does allow Canadian TV stations to broadcast sub-channels   [Link: crtc.gc.ca] with alternative programming but apparently for community purposes only [Link: cftvdt.net].

With the FCC approval of the sale of (some) Tribune assets to Nexstar, look for ANTENNA TV and This TV to move to Nexstar stations like WIVB-DT and WROC-DT.
