I'm ignorant here. I have a DIY amplifier with an IR receiver and generic IR remote. I want to use my Samsung S6 as the remote instead. My documentation only says:

Standard Phillips RC5 protocol

Function/RC5 Code

1 Power 50
2 Volume up 51
etc

The android apps I've downloaded want you to choose a device model. I've tried selecting every Phillips TV model available. I just want to enter RC5 code (50) and assign the button (power) to it. Or is that how it works? Can someone point me in the right direction please?
