Thanks for the reply. I've ordered a Nevo C2 from eBay using the link you provided. I like the idea of using a USB remote rather than some strange other cable. I can get the software you spoke of should be able to figure it out from there.

I just need a working remote that I can load UEI data and create a real signal from it that I can then capture using an Arduino microcontroller and test my software to see if I can decode it.
