So I have an Onkyo txnr646 receiver, a Panasonic bluray, a dish vip211z, and a 55" samsung led tv. All devices are hooked up using hdmi cables.My problem is that the receiver goes into protection and shuts down as soon as I try to connect hdmi to dish box. If I disconnect Hdmi cable from dish box everything works fine. I have tried using a dish box from another room and also another brand new txnr646 with the same results. I have also tried to disconnect the coax feed from dish and problem still happens. I can't figure this one out. I'm stumped. The dish box works fine if I run an hdmi cable from itself direct to the tv. Any help is appreciated.
