Like math, engineering ( or applied physics ) or water on Mars? I might remind some that this thread was about wishing Jews a happy New Year and good final inscription. But some of you Christians cannot bare to leave well enough alone. For Shame!

On the contrary, friend!
The Day of Atonement is one of the most marvelous days of all. It was required by God to make spiritual restitution for sin. And like most of the Jewish holidays, it is a foreshadowing or a picture of a New Testament Bible event. Bible believers see how the high priest's once yearly offering to atone for the sins of God's people points unmistakably to HaMashiach Yeshua. HE would be the one who would offer the perfect sacrifice to atone for man's sin, Once for All.
The Letter to Hebrews is a deep and full treatise on the Last High Priest, especially from chapter 5 on. Great holy day, great picture of that which would come.
