Are you going to treat everyone the same, and move every off topic thread? I'd say that "threads getting closed" or moved is NOT off topic here -- it has to do with the basic behavior of the moderator(s).

So here's my answer to you:
Just treat everyone the same. The thread you just moved contained zero offensive comments or putdowns, yet it only took a moment for you to move it. You CAN act quickly.
