I have a 32" Sansui LCD TV HDLCDVD323 that will not display an HDMI input from any source except for one case....This involves taking a cable I have which has a mini USB from my Samsung Galaxyt S4 cellphone supplemented by a USB adapter for power into the HDMI plug. I can display the phone screen fine like that on the TV and any material on the phone (videos, pictures, etc.).
Is this a levels issue that somehow my laptops and DVD players etc can't drive the inputs of the Sansui properly without the assistance of a USB power boost???? Is it a defective TV, a setting, or what??
