Question for you guys, what happens when/if i upgrade or change some component (like the blue ray player) do i need to go back to the dealer for reprogramming?

Likely yes. ...maybe no. If the device that you replace uses the same code database and functions, then there is no need for reprogramming (ie: updating a Blu-ray player, a new TV if the old one was the same brand and uses the same input).

If the new component is made by different mfr, you will need to have the old device deleted in the programming and the new device added. You will also have to have any macros updated.

If you use different inputs in the new configuration, then the macros have to be adjusted accordingly.

I hope things work out great for you on your setup.
