I picked up a antique Allegro remote control at Goodwill the other day and was wondering if anyone had basic programming instructions and codes for it.

The front has "Allegro" at the very top in grey on black. What interested me in this remote is it has jumbo sized buttons.

Just below the brand name it has CATV, VCR, and TV buttons with square LED lights.

It has no pacific setup button / programming button.

Inside the battery compartment the label shows:

343 04-201
MEXICO 4022D18
124-196-01

I'm just guessing off the top of my head. The only procedure I can think of would be to hold down the CATV, VCR, or TV button until the LED above it started blinking. Then release it and enter a programming code. If the code was correct the light above the device button would turn off and something different if incorrect.

What I've read online this may be in fact a Zenith remote. If so does anyone know a Zenith code for a RCA / GE / Proscan TV?
