I am running a renovation project that had in ceiling speakers installed previously that need to be re-used after the renovation is complete. Now the reno is close to completion, so I had a helper cut out all the speaker holes in the ceilings for the re installation of the speakers. I told him we were using a 12" speaker, and he took that and cut a 12" hole. So now I have an apartment close to finished and when I try to install the speakers they just go right up into the ceiling. The contractor is really not happy to say the least and patching the sheet rock is not really an option at this point because of all the other labor that would cause. I need a flange or adapter that sits around the bezel of the speaker and will be larger by about 1/2" so that i can mount the speakers properly. Does something like that exist and if so where can i get it? Or any other ideas?

Thanks in advance.
