Hi,

I just got a Yamaha ATS-1010 sound bar and want to program the mute button on my Comcast DVR remote, which is the "red" model 1167 used with my Motorola DCX-3400 DVR. The sound bar is connected through the optical out port on my LG HDTV. I want to use just the Comcast remote and not juggle other remotes.

I am able to program the sound bar to recognize the TV power and volume up/down codes, but for some incomprehensible reason Yamaha did not enable programming of the mute key.

I have tried all the 5 digits codes I could find relating to Yamaha on my AUX device, and the only one that sort of works is 10030, a Yamaha TV code. It also controls the sound bar power and volume, but not the mute.

Yamaha support sent me the following HEX codes for the ATS-1010. I have no idea how to use them or if I even can. Does anyone have any idea's on how I should proceed? I
