Are you sure you're using the latest version of ProntoEdit 4 and have the most recent firmware loaded on the remote?

I can assure you that the operating system should not be affecting this. Fonts as used on the Pronto are hard-coded bitmaps stored in firmware, and aren't dependant on anything computer-side.
