My URC MX850 dropped on the floor and landed hard. It stopped working and there was something rattling around inside it. I watched a YouTube video which showed my how to open the MX850, but it had a completely different type of connection for the smaller (what I now understand to be the transmit) board, to the lower board. I looks like it uses a spring to press the smaller board's male connector to the lower board's solder points. Are there different versions of the MX850? Is the any way to tell which version I have? If I should buy a used one, in "9 or10" condition, on eBay, how difficult is it to program. I'd like to be able to take 2 units, one top section, with a STABLE spring connector version and marry it to my already programmed bottom section. Am I dreaming? Any recommendations?
