I'm having trouble getting feedback on this on the other two private sites, so figured I'll try here....here is the post I already put up just copied and pasted:

I've finally started working on my own custom Phone GUI for our systems. Working with the iPhone is unique in that while the screen size is pretty small (like working on an MTX3 minus all the hard buttons), the touch sensitivity of the iphone is very good and allows you to use smaller and more compact buttons than I normally would.

Next is trying to decide what functionality / features are needed. Are users mainly going to use these apps for remote status checking and control of the home or will they be used often at home as well?

If main function is remote access, then just focus on lights, climate, house scenes, av on/off, may be suffice. However, after working on my gui for a bit, I think I will likely use mine for AV quite a bit. I was worried that the screen was too small to handle a server, but I've been pretty happy with the layout.

Now keep in mind I'm programming in SB so some fb/control limitations exist. For example I liked stamp's idea of a room lights on/off button that also raise/dims lights with press and hold. Well I can do a Press and Hold AND toggle button in SB.

Right now I have the flow based of this: ROOM SELECT -> ACTIVITY SELECT (sources/lights) -> Control Source.
Footer always shows and provides Volume Control and Light Master Raise/Lower of current room.
ON the ROOM select page, there is a Light ICON next to each room name which shows if any lights are on in the room. Also this icon can be pressed to turn lights on/off in that room.
There is a MUSIC NOTE icon that shows next to the room name if there is any AV currently on in the room.

Power button gives option for Room av off, house av off, room lights off, house lights off.

Top left corner is either ROOM CONTROL button or HOUSE CONTROL. If on the ROOM SELECT or SOURCE SELECT page it shows as HOUSE CONTROL, and my idea is to have this jump to a page of Global Modes or Scenes like a party mode.

I feel like i'm missing a SHARE SOURCE option or some sort of global AV control for volume and source selection, but not sure how I can make this happen with the size constraints.  Also a shortcut LIGHTS button to show all the rooms and the lights, but I think my Room Select page satisfies this need.

Here some screen shots. Please let me know what you guys think. I've been working hard on this and going back and forth on a few things and would really appreciate any feedback and thoughts.

This is an old screen shot before I added the Lighting Raise Lower on the footer bar, but it shows the POWER page that comes up when power is pressed.
