I,ve done most of my CCP programming using windows XP on my laptop which recently died! I've also done programming on my windows 7 64 bit machine using XP inside a virtual PC.
I haven't had any issues programming my MSC-400, MRF-350 MX-5000, MX-880 in windows XP using either set-up!
I recently purchased a MX-1200 and couldn't get it to connect with Windows XP. It seems URC doesn't support a XP driver; so I had to use my Windows 7 64 bit machine to program my MX-1200.
Here is where the fun begins....... I am still using a MSC-400 in my system. As you know CCP doesn't support Windows 64 drivers for the MSC-400. In order to program this set-up, I have to do all my programming in Windows 7 64 bit and then save and send it to the MX-1200. I then have to send the file over to my virtual machine and use windows XP to download to my MSC-400. It's a pain in the arse to say the least!
I've recently purchased a new laptop, however it also came pre-installed with Windows 64 bit.
My question is if I downgrade my laptop to 32 Bit will I be able to download to both the MX-1200 and MSC-400 using CCP?
