Hi. I have an MX-850 that has a problem with the lcd. When I insert the batteries, all characters on the lcd 'come on' and stay on solidly. The screen shows 12 pretty much solid blue rectangles and the send signal that are on all the time, and no readable characters. The back light works, and all of the buttons seem to work. I tried to do a reset by following the procedure on my MX-800, but it didn't help at all. When I shake it, there doesn't seem to be anything loose inside...

Do any of you guys have any experience with a problem like this? Any suggestions of things I might try?

Any info would be great.
