It's not the file, it's the DTV box you have. Some are more sensitive than others when using anything other than the oem remote.
What you need to do is learn all the codes that are "repeating". I had to do this with two of my 950's and 2 SD DTV boxes. Learn a "quick press" of each button and you'll be good to go.
