Thanks for explaining that. I do not have an emitter placed on the eye of the TV. I would have no idea where the eye is. And again I have an emitter base that points towards the device cabinet and TV. It also has a small extension base that plugs into it and is sitting about 10 feet away. I have never had to put an emitter onto the eye of any of my devices. I have never had to point the remote towards the devices for it to work.
I can look into switching the remote in the software, but by doing this.... will it allow me to then do a 'point to point' learning from the TV magic remote or would I be doing this so I can use the software you directed me to?
