Been fine for months. Client returns from 3 weeks on vacation and keypads don't control the DA amp or DirecTV receiver. Still controlling AVR and CD player. have to grab the MX5000 handheld controller (also going thru MRX1) to change DirecTV channels. I can see that the visible emitters are not flashing on those devices when I use the KP4000.

I rebooted the network switch in the stack as well as the MRX plus rebooted the KP4000s and it finally woke up. Now down again.

Trying to determine why the MRX base station picks up RF from the MX5000 and controls all, but the KP4000 controls just select devices. Where to start?

Is there a RFTX1 attached to the MRX1? If yes, then the MRX1 is acting like a MRF350 which is why the MX5000 is working. The KP4000 only sends IP data out of the RJ45 port on the back and the MRX1 is a dumb box that converts the IP data into RS232 or IR data from it's ports.

Do you have a static IP assigned to the KP4000?
