I have gotten the codes for this remote to work with the RX-V992 from this site about a year and a half but have, miss placed them. I have just gone back to charter to get a replacement remote. some one from this site gave me directions/codes on how to a sing individual keys to do different functions.


CBL = Scientific Atlanta Cable Box TV = 31inch GE DVD = Yamaha AUX = Apple Remote

I had the old remote keys for DVD setup as:

Yellow A = Power off
Power = Power on
Vol = Vol
Mute = Mute

1 = Tuner
2 = CD
3 = Nothing
4 = Do not remember
5 = Phono
6 = TV/DSB
7 = Do not remember
8 = Do not remember
9 = Do not remember
0 = Do not remember
