I am setting up a sound system for a large garage (2,000 sf) and a large garden area 60 feet from the garage. The customer has 4 pairs of AW650 which are 4 OHMS. I am looking for a suggestion on a stereo receiver or maybe some setup with a avr with an amp hooked to it.

Source needs: am/fm radio, iPod, and maybe some extra inputs.

Also, the garden needs to be a separate zone with some kind of volume control remotely. The main garage needs volume control also away from the receiver.

I am interested in hearing what you guys think would be an adequate amplifier to get good performance from these speakers.

Later we might add a URC RF remote to the system.
