I have to say i really like this programme ..Its a nice spin on Sherlock Holmes set in modern times.. I like it a lot, last nights episode, A Scandal in Belgravia was excellent.

I thought Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock and Martin Freeman as Dr Watson work very well and do bounce off each other effortlessly and i like how Mrs Hudson is their landlady and not a housekeeper with a bit of history herself, Mycroft is played uniquely by Mark Gatiss..i also like his take on the Character and in last nights episode the brotherly link was shown ,the bond and natural brotherly rivalry.

I enjoyed the last series and thought it may go down hill but this first episode of the second series was on the money for me.

I have to mention that i am a fan of the Downey and law film versions. I first got into Sherlock Holmes on the screen with Jeremy Brett's as SH in ITV production from 1984 -94.

so writing this i realise i am a Sherlock Holmes as a whole fan...

The BBC new series is well worth a look so if you can get it in your country why not have a peek?
