Here's a possibility-- hifi-remote.com has an upgrade for a "501 HDMI switcher".

It is the NEC1 IR protocol, device 128. You can test the following codes to see if they control your switcher.
1 00184
2 00186
3 00053
4 00057
5 00251
<-- 00119
--> 00246
Assign setup code 1561 to the Audio button on your remote (0674 on the DVD button will also work.) Then tap (don't hold) Setup and follow that with any of the 5 digit codes listed above, while pointing the remote at the switcher. When you press the 5th digit, the remote shoujld send the IR signal. You may want to hold the the 5th digit so that the signal repeats.

If the tests pan out, you can use the 994 Keymove commands to semi-permanently assign these functions to buttons.
