I have a technical question for any of the graphic designers. I am working on an ipad application. Is there a resource on the web or a technique where I could figure out how to place icons which are already on a portrait based layout on an ipad - where to plot them on a landscape platform?
In other words, when the person rotates his/her ipad, the icons will switch from portrait to landscape, but they need the portrait version needs to match the landscape version. I am not sure how to calculate the XY coordinates for the equiivalant landscape location when I have it in portrait already.
Hope I explained myself properly. Basically I just want it to look like the same layout when the person rotates the ipad. Thanks, any help or dirction would be greatly apprecaiate. If there were a calculator online where you could enter the X, Y and pixel size (100x100) and rotation (portrait in this case) it could give you the corresponding location in landscape.
Thanks, hope someone can help.
