Its been a long time since Ive posted, but I need your thoughts on this.

I have a TSU6000 and a Russound SaphIR system.

They have always worked very well together. Last year, i bought a Mitsu LCD that causes interference with the SaphIR system. It always took until the TV was sufficiently warmed up before the interference would subside.

My wife, after much chiding, convinced me to buy a Plasma/CFL compatible eye for the Russound, so I finally ordered one.

Have installed it and the system dont work so good. So, I went to the Russound website and they say compatibility with DirecTV receivers (the main culprit of my problems) is a known issue. They recommend installing a 680-ohm, 1/4 watt resitor inline with the transmitter eye off the connecting block on the russound. Ive done that. Works a tiny bit better, but not much.

I am not going thru my CCF and increasing the delay from the standard 0.1ms to 0.3 on all my channel macros hoping that by slowing down the signal transmission, the DirecTV receiver will be more cooperative.

Do you have any experience/thoughts on this?

Thanks in advance
