I am trying to get it running for a friend. I have an FTDI adapter which I managed to get working. It has almost become a personal vendetta at this point :)

I was just hoping to hear from others if they had had luck with this adapter. It is strange that it gets to a certain point then gives up the ghost. I am inclined to believe that it is something that "can be fixed"

thanks for looking though. Any one with any experience in this particular usb to serial converter?
