The original remote requires complete programming into the remote, and then subsequent transmission to the unit. This is obviously impossible with the more traditional style of the MX-800, but it is possible to set up some basic operations Such as: Off On - Fan Only - Low On - Fan Only - Medium On - Fan Only - High On - AirCon - Temp 16 Degrees (C) - Low On - AirCon - Temp 16 Degrees (C) - Med On - AirCon - Temp 16 Degrees (C) - High Return to the file area.
